Former Nottingham Forest manager Chris Hughton has emerged as a potential candidate to replace Mark Fotheringham at Huddersfield.
Hughton, who spent just over a year at the City Ground, has emerged as third favourite for the job. The 64-year-old led Forest to their worst start to a season in 108 years.
Fotheringham, meanwhile, was dismissed less than 24 hours after Huddersfield's 2-2 draw at Blackpool after being in the lead twice. A statement released by the Terriers read: "Huddersfield Town can confirm that it has terminated the contract of head coach Mark Fotheringham with immediate effect. His assistant, Kenny Miller, has also left the club."
