Chris Hughes has paid gushing tribute to new girlfriend Annabel Dimmock as he has declared he has never been so head over heels since he matched with her.
The 28-year-old reality star has made something of a career out of his relationship – having shot to fame on Love Island back in 2017 and has maintained his spot in the headlines thanks to high profile romances.
Now the TV hunk has gone public with 24-year-old professional golfer Annabel who he met, perhaps as might be expected, on the golf course.
But while Chris has been seen falling for women on camera in in the headlines, he says his fledgling relationship with Annabel is like nothing he has experienced before.
He told The Sun: “I met her on the golf course, spent a lot of time together and yes, it was lovely. We get on well with each other.
“Obviously, I've met loads of girls over the last however long and you talk to people but I've never got that buzz with anyone, since my last relationship.”
He added: “I’ve never had that buzz, so for someone to come along, this one feels different.”
The pair have also been acting all loved up online – sharing snaps and romantic posts of themselves together on social media.
Meanwhile, Chris’s famous ex-girlfriend, Jesy Nelson, is gearing up to crack America after breaking away from Little Mix to go it alone as a solo performer.
The 30-year-old chart topping star has reportedly signed with Republic Records to work with the same company as Ariana Grande in a bid to hit the ground running with her solo music.
A source told The Sun this past week: “Jesy never really managed to make it big in the States with Little Mix, but thanks to the deal with Republic, she’s got the best team around her.
"There is a real buzz when it comes to her solo career and this single could be the thing to take her career to the next level.”
Jesy and Chris enjoyed a high profile romance from January 2019 until April 2020 – with their split coming weeks after Chris made headlines after lashing out at a photographer at the 2020 National Television Awards.
Chris has claimed he and Jesy are still close, saying previously: "I’m just grateful and fortunate that Jesy’s still a very good friend of mine.
"We still get on extremely well and she’s a great person. It’s good to have her as a friend rather than losing her out of my life completely. I think that’s the hardest part of a break-up."
He added: "It’s just one of those things – people grow apart and things happen.
"It’s a part of life. Not everything is meant to last and the world would be very weird if everyone who went out with someone was with them for the rest of their lives."
