He responded: "I'm gonna give you a good answer. The answer would be that maybe [I'm] laser-focused on finding a partner - someone that you want to live with."
Chris further told Shondaland's Mariel Turner: "I love what I do. It's great; I pour all of myself into it. Even this industry is full of pockets of doubt, hesitation, and recalibration."
"In terms of really trying to find something that you really can pour all of yourself into, maybe it's about trying to find someone that you're looking to spend your life with," he said.
He has previously been linked to stars including Jessica Biel, 40, and Minka Kelly, 42 - with him having more recently dated actor and comedian Jenny Slate, 40.
The Gray Man is based on the novel of the same name from 2009. It had a limited theatrical release earlier this month, with it set to be released on Netflix later this week.
Chris plays Lloyd Hansen in the film, who's described as a "sociopathic rogue operative" who leads the manhunt to capture agent Court Gentry, played by Ryan.
The cast of the project - which has been directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo - also includes Billy Bob Thornton, 66, as well as Bridgerton 's Regé-Jean Page, 34.
The Gray Man will be released on Netflix this Friday (July 22).
