Chris Eubank and Liam Smith headline an exciting Boxxer promotion at the AO Arena in Manchester on Saturday night, with two former world champions going head to head.
Smith has stepped up from light-middleweight to middleweight for the contest and Eubank has returned to his most comfortable weight having dropped to 157lbs for his cancelled fight against Conor Benn in October. Eubank remains highly rated within the middleweight division and could face a fight later this year against Billy Joe Saunders.
There was controversy at Thursday's press conference, with both fighters escalating into trading insults being traded before personal lives being discussed on stage. This prompted Boxxer promoter Ben Shalom to apologise for the scenes, taking attention away from what is a well matched fight.
