Chris Eubank Jr has offered to face Jake Paul at six days' notice after the YouTube star cancelled his fight with Hasim Rahman Jr.
Paul postponed his sixth professional bout last night when he claimed Rahman Jr was refusing to attempt to cut down to the renegotiated 205lb weight limit. The fight was initially contracted at 200lb before the son of a legend insisted he would be unable to meet his obligation.
Paul, who has previously fought at 190lb, insisted he had no choice to call off the fight, along with the undercard which featured world champion Amanda Serrano. The social media influencer had already been forced to draft in Rahman to replace Tommy Fury after the Brit was unable to fly to the United States.
And after referring to Fury and Rahman Jr as "Fumbles" and "Crumbles" respectively, Paul was made an offer by Eubank Jr who tweeted: "Fumbles & Crumbles are not 'boxers', they are guys who put gloves on every now and again for clout… no different to you. I’m fighting in a couple months but I can squeeze you into my schedule next week and save your show if you have the heart to get into the ring with a REAL boxer."
Eubank Jr is currently negotiating a fight with Conor Benn with a date of October 8 at The O2 arena in London pencilled in. The pair are understood to have agreed a catchweight of 156lb but no deal has been signed. And in responding to Eubank Jr's offer to Paul, Benn tweeted: "Why you worrying about fighting Jake… as far as I’m aware you’ve lost your pen again…?"

Paul's options for his next fight appear limited with the 25-year-old unlikely to offer another chance to either Rahman Jr or Fury. He could wait for UFC star Nate Diaz to fight out his contract with the promotion when he takes on Khamzat Chimaev on September 10.
Paul could also take on UFC legend Anderson Silva who has pursued his own boxing career since retiring from the cage. Paul's ultimate aim is to face Conor McGregor but a fight with the Irishman is a long-shot with McGregor due to return to the UFC early in 2023.
