Chris Eubank Jr has dismissed chances of Kell Brook facing Conor Benn next and believes he is in pole position to face the Sheffield star next.
Brook defeated Amir Khan in brutal fashion with a powerful display which culminated in a sixth round stoppage.
Eubank Jr was ringside for the clash and immediately expressed his desire to face Brook next in a bumper domestic clash.
However he believes that Brook has no option but to "fight" him or "retire" and has reiterated his stance over a potential showdown.
“Of course I am at the front of the line," Eubank Jr told Mirror Fighting . "The day after the fight he was talking about fighting me at 155lbs.
"He doesn’t want to fight Conor Benn. That doesn’t make sense for him. If you were gonna put it into perspective, if he goes and fights me and loses he could actually go and fight Benn afterwards and the public will still be interested.
“He can’t go and fight Conor Benn then lose and fight me after. That explains why the fight should be with me at this stage of his career.
"If he had nicked a win or got a points decision then the fight wouldn’t interest me at all. When he dominates a world class fighter like Amir Khan, that is credible stuff and is the stuff that makes me think ‘ can he do it against me?’
"We are both coming on the back of big wins, we are both on Sky Sports so that fight makes a lot of sense. Let’s get it on and give the public what they want because there is history and ‘beef’ between us."
Eubank Jr is planning a middleweight title assault after defeating rival Liam Williams with a points victory.
However with Gennady Golovkin's unification clash against Ryota Murata currently held up, a title shot looks unlikely in the near future.

The 32-year-old is instead eyeing a number of domestic fights including Brook and a rematch with Billy Joe Saunders who recently issued his demands.
Brook and Eubank Jr traded verbal jabs over their fight demands on social media with the latter confirming he would only stage a fight at 160lbs.
Now the middleweight contender has reiterated his stance on a potential weight switch, stating that Brook has no options other than to fight him or face retirement.
“For sure he has fought already at 160, he fought Golovkin at 160," Eubank Jr continued. "This was years ago and I can guarantee it is a lot easier for him to make it now than it was back then.
"I guarantee he walks around bigger than me outside of a training camp. I walk around 165-166, he is probably walking around at 172. He could easily do 160 whereas I have never been at 155.
"Why would I go down and fight at a weight I have never been at, it just makes no sense. He doesn’t have anyone else to go to, it’s either fight me or retire. I have a long laundry list of fighters I can fight next so he can’t be making these crazy demands."
