Eddie Howe has a nearly full squad to pick from when naming his starting XI for Newcastle United's Premier League clash with Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.
Miguel Almiron is of course the most notable absence for Newcastle, with Howe confirming that he expects the 29-year-old to be out for around four weeks. Elsewhere though it is better news for the Magpies as Anthony Gordon was back in training ahead of the game against Manchester United.
"The break came at a good time for Anthony Gordon to improve on his injury and try to get him closer to returning," Howe told the media during Tuesday's pre-match press conference. "I think he used the time wisely."

"I don't know the answer to that currently [whether he will feature against Man United]. He took part in a very small part in training on Wednesday. So we will see how he responds to that today."
Nick Pope, Callum Wilson and Allan Saint-Maximin were also given the green light by the Newcastle boss as he went on to confirm that Sven Botman will be available for selection after suffering with food poisoning while on international duty with the Netherlands.
