Choose Newcastle United's starting XI against Crystal Palace following Bruno Guimaraes' late heroics

Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe will be looking to mathematically confirm his side's place in the Premier League this season with victory against Crystal Palace tomorrow evening.

The Magpies currently sit 12 points clear of the bottom four having now only last three of the their last 13 domestic outings. Brazilian magician Bruno Guimaraes again sent St. James Park into delirium following his late heroics against Leicester City last time out, registering both his second and third goals following his January switch from Lyon.

With Howe's only change last time out coming in the way of Ryan Fraser following his recent injury setback, the Magpies may again opt for the same starting XI that successfully overcame the Foxes just days ago.

The main question again is presented in the middle of midfield, with Guimaraes' recent goal scoring form perhaps suggesting it will be Joe Willock that will have to settle for a place on the bench.

Crystal Palace will however offer a different kind of threat in the form of on-loan Chelsea start Conor Gallagher and have performed amicably following Patrick Vieira's appointment too.

With it also confirmed the game will come too early for Kieran Tripper who again steps up his own rehabilitation, Emil Krafth will likely complete the backline as United chase a third consecutive home victory.
