Chloe Ferry needs a skin graft to fix 'fox eye' damage but is wary of more surgery

Doctors have told Chloe Ferry she needs a skin graft to repair the damage from her botched 'fox eye lift'.

The Geordie Shore star, 27, has previously opened up about how the permanent scarring on her face is impacting her confidence, but is reluctant to go under the knife again in order to fix the damage.

Chloe - who recently quashed rumours of a reunion with her ex - first revealed how her 'botched' fox eye lift had left her with permanent scarring in August this year, adding how the experience has severely impacted her mental health and 'ruined her life'.

Speaking exclusively with the Mirror last week, the busy businesswoman updated us on how she's feeling about her scar these days and why she might avoid having another procedure to fix the issue.

The cosmetic procedure, dubbed 'fox eye surgery', involves inserting biodegradable threads under the skin to lift the eyebrows and is often touted as a minimally invasive treatment.

Chloe admitted on earlier this year how she was inspired to share her story after former Big Brother housemate Ryan Ruckledge detailed a similar experience of the surgery going wrong on This Morning in June.

"I'm still devastated but I always think, to make myself feel better, how there is so much worse going on in the world," Chloe muses when discussing her scarring with us last week.

The star goes on to say: "I always say about myself - I never big myself up - but I have lovely, nice skin. I had always been confident having nothing on my face but now I feel [self conscious].

"People will say it's not that bad but when I'm sitting there and looking at it, it's always a million times worse - it's not just a scar, it's a dint."

Chloe continues to recall how she has always been "very open" about what surgeries and procedures she has had, but dubs having the 'fox eye lift' the "worst mistake of my life".

"I've seen a consultant who says I need to have a skin graft - devastated," she reveals when quizzed if there is anything that can repair the damage.

"I didn't want to have more surgery. I'm staying away from that," Chloe continues to explain.

"I was young when I had my boobs done. I'm getting older now."

She adds: "I want to started finding a husband - this is not what I want to be doing. It's scary to think 'f***ing hell, I have to go under the knife again?' "

In August, Chloe warned her Instagram followers about the potential dangers associated with the trendy 'fox eye lift'

As she shared snaps of her scars, she wrote: "I'm seeing this procedure becoming increasingly more and more popular. This may not happen to everyone but as I'm left with scars seven months later I just wanted to take to social media just to let everyone know what had happened to myself."

Elsewhere during our recent chat with Chloe, the savvy business owner opened up about life juggling multiple companies and why being busy keeps her sane.

The Geordie Shore star is the proud owner of Chloe Ferry Cosmetics, Ferry Body, CM House of Aesthetics and CM House of Training, where aspiring beauticians can master the art of things like brow lamination and lash lifts.

Four businesses means the reality TV star's hands are pretty full these days - something Chloe is a big fan of.

"I enjoy being busy, the best thing for me is being in a routine," the salon owner declares when speaking from one of her venues last week.

"I love being busy - I’ve always been very active. I’d rather do it and fail than not do it at all."
