If you love deep fried foods and will eat anything that's been coated in batter, then you're going to want to keep reading this.
Tht's because, Codfather Fish and Chips in Cambuslang, south-east Glasgow, has apparently created a "game-changer".
The chip shop is now selling battered pickled onions.
Pickled onions are traditionally offered as a side dish to the popular meal, so to Amandeep Singh, the shop's owner, the whole thing just made sense.
The new item isn't yet on the official menu, but they're being sold in Codfather for 50p each or five for £2.
Those in the local area can also get them delivered.
Deep fried treats have always been a big hit in Scotland, with the country believed to be the place where the deep fried Mars Bar originated from.
But Singh, 38, says he's never seen deep fried pickled onions in the 16 years he's been running the shop.
"I’ve never seen it done before," he said.
"I’ve been working a long time in chippies and just wanted to be different and thought I’d try putting a pickled onion in batter.
“When it’s quiet, you think up different things."
He continued: "We just started selling them yesterday. They’re not on the menu yet, but the customers like them already.
"People have been messaging saying they’re really tasty.
"I like them myself, and all the staff really like them.
"The batter’s nice and crispy and you still get a crunch with the onion."
The shop announced the launch of the item on Facebook, writing: "Fancy trying something a little bit different.
"Love pickles and love batter why not come try them together."
The post has since gone viral, garnering more than 8,000 comments and being shared over 3,000 times.
One customer commented: "This is a game-changer for when the cravings kick in."
Another said: "These look amazing. Definitely coming your way when travel is allowed and I can resume my yearly trips to Scotland!"
A third replied: "That's a yes from me, yummy!"
However not everyone was convinced.
Someone else wrote that they'd prefer to try them coated in bread crumbs instead of batter.
While a different user added: "I like pickles but in batter ew!"
