Chinese Taipei is on the board at the 2023 World Baseball Classic, winning a big game against Italy — that went back and forth — 11-7.
But I want to talk about the fans of that team. They are AWESOME.
Every clip I saw from that contest on Friday featured the Chinese Taipei faithful performing a cheer in complete sync, or giving deafening roars after clutch home runs. We need more of this in baseball … or I guess, American baseball.
Just listen to the sound as this ball went over the wall in the eighth inning, as if it was Game 7 of the World Series, and then look at that reaction:
