James Harden was left stunned by fans in China after he sold 10,000 bottles of his signature-brand wine in just 10 seconds during a live stream.
The 76ers star teamed up with popular Chinese influencer Xiao Yang during a social media live stream in order to help promote his wine brand, J-Harden Wines, according to the South China Morning Post. It took just 10 seconds for the company to sell 10,000 bottles, far and away the most bottles J-Harden Wines has sold in a single day.
Xiao and Harden were communicating through an interpreter, who informed the 76ers star of his brand’s volume of sales. After Harden verified the amount with a look at a computer screen, the 33-year-old was left totally stunned.

The Beard let out a maniacal laugh before stepping back and performing a cartwheel in the background while still in frame of the camera.
Before the wine became available to purchase, Xiao asked Harden about the most bottles he’d ever sold in a day, to which he replied, “a few cases.”
It’s safe to say his fans blew that number out of the water, with 10,000 bottles getting bought up in a matter of seconds.
The J-Harden wine collection launched in 2022, in collaboration with the wine brand J-Shed, with a goal of making the drink more accessible, diverse and inclusive.
Harden’s trip to China was his first time back in the country in four years. It’s been an eventful trip for the 14-year veteran, who publicly lambasted Philadelphia’s president of basketball operations, Daryl Morey, at an Adidas-sponsored event after reports that the team did not plan to honor his trade request.
