Ireland is in for a chilly surprise this weekend as Met Eireann have given a mixed forecast for the next few days.
On Friday evening, parts of the county are in for some awful weather with scattered showers, along with a chance of isolated thunderstorms and hail, that will become more isolated throughout the evening.
And we are in for a cold night as temperatures are set to dip as low as 4C overnight on Friday.

Over the weekend, Met Eireann has reported that Ireland faces "changeable" weather with mostly "dry and sunny" weather expected on Saturday, though rain will move eastward across the country on Sunday.
Earlier this week, Met Eireann gave an unusual update, warning that the country will be blitzed by both “fresh polar maritime air” and “mild tropical maritime air” over the weekend and into next week.
The national forecaster said: “A mobile westerly air-flow looks set to dominate during this week with frontal systems moving in from the Atlantic at times.
“As Ireland lies near the polar front, alternating incursions of fresh polar maritime air and mild tropical maritime air are expected.”
Here is a more detailed look at Met Eireann’s forecast.
