A mum armed herself with a large kitchen knife in an ongoing row with her neighbours.
Jessica Rowe, 43, grabbed the blade after months of tensions with a resident in Blackbird Leys, Oxford.
Chilling photos show her holding the blade down by her side during the confrontation last December.
In a conversation on Facebook, she accused a woman of being "spiteful" and threatened to come over to her address.
The woman took her up on the offer, arriving at the block of flats at around 8.35am and banging on Rowe's front door but she wasn't in.
A neighbour later saw the pair struggling with each other in a corridor and both women were said to have been hitting each other in the face.
The onlooker made no mention of Rowe, of Oxford, having a knife.
But the weapon was clearly visible in her right hand in a short piece of video footage shot by the other woman.
Prosecutor Christopher Pembridge told the court that Rowe had allegedly held the knife in the air and shouted at the other woman saying "come here I'll kill you."
Kellie Enever, defending, said her client had experienced difficulty with her neighbours since moving into her flat a week before lockdown in March 2020.
The second woman was said to have "breached Rowe's confidence" by divulging a conversation about the latter's teen daughter.
"In short, on this day Ms Rowe decided a line had been crossed by [the second woman] and enough was enough," Ms Enever said.
"Because for as long as she was going to say things about her daughter that was unacceptable.
"She can say what she likes about Ms Rowe, but not her daughter."
Rowe pleaded guilty to possession of a knife. She had no previous convictions.
Recorder John Ryder QC said: "It seems to me that you'd been exhausted by all that was going on [in the flats] and on this occasion you came to the end of your tether and accordingly you behaved histrionically.
"It is plain to me you had absolutely no intention of using that knife and no intention of responding to the circumstances in a way that would escalate them further leading to a real risk [of violence].
"As I say, this was simply histrionics."
She was sentenced to an 18-month community order with 40 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
