More than 2,700 teddy bears have been placed outside the Foreign Office to mark the Palestinian children killed in Gaza.
Organised by the group, Parents for Palestine, a UK-based group made up of non-Jewish and Jewish people, hundreds of parents and children joined the protest in central London.
In laying out the 2,704 cuddly toys across the entrance of the department, the group called for the UK Government to end the sales of arms to Israel and for an immediate ceasefire to be called.
Kate Joseph of Parents for Palestine said: “We cannot imagine the pain and fear that parents in Gaza are going through. As parents, we demand that the UK government immediately ends arms sales to Israel and calls for a ceasefire.
“How are we to explain to our children that our government is actively endorsing the murder of children in Palestine?
“That we are exporting bombs and refusing to call for a ceasefire? For the sake of all children everywhere, the siege on Gaza must end and the occupation must end.”
The Palestinian Health Authority, which is operated by Hamas, said that at least 7,326 people have been killed, including 3,038 children.
A further batch of aid trucks entered Gaza on Friday morning, bringing the overall total to 84 but organisations have warned the supplies are not sufficient to support the masses in the enclave and the hospitals which are struggling to operate.
Hamas continues to hold dozens of civilian hostages following the October 7 massacre which saw more than 1,400 Israelis killed.
