A 13-year-old girl is in a critical condition after being hit by a van in Adelaide's inner north this morning.
Police and emergency services were called to Prospect Road at Prospect just after 8am after the van hit the pedestrian while travelling north.
The 13-year-old Prospect girl was rushed to the Women's and Children's Hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the Toyota van, a 30-year-old man from Athelstone, was not physically injured in the crash.
Prospect Road has now reopened after being closed for a number of hours.
Police said investigations were continuing.
