The Kansas City Chiefs have had success drafting talent in recent seasons, and seem to have struck gold in their selection of wide receiver Rashee Rice in the second round of the NFL selection meeting back in April.
His exceptional performances through Week 7 have helped Rice gain acclaim from fans and pundits alike and earned him PFF’s fourth-highest grade of any player in the 2023 draft class.

Through his first seven games as a professional Rice has caught 26 passes for 305 yards and three touchdowns, and become one of Patrick Mahomes’ preferred targets on passing downs. These statistics might not lead the league, but as the reigning MVP hits his stride under center after a breakout performance against the Chargers last week, Rice’s production seems primed to spike as Kansas City heads into the middle part of its 2023 schedule.
Keep your eye on the promising rookie when the Chiefs play the Denver Broncos in Week 8, and expect him to put together a special performance to help earn Kansas City its seventh straight win.
