The Kansas City Chiefs are less than one quarter away from securing the No. 1 seed for the AFC playoffs in January.
In the final frame of Kansas City’s Week 17 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day, veteran running back Kareem Hunt hit paydirt on a rushing touchdown that may have sealed a Chiefs victory.
After three hotly contested quarters of play, Kansas City got out to an insurmountable lead when Hunt put the Chiefs up by 10 points.
Take a look at this video of Hunt’s rushing touchdown, which was posted to Twitter by the Chiefs’ official account during the game:

Though Hunt has played a smaller role in Kansas City’s offense since Isiah Pacheco’s return from the Chiefs’ injured reserve list, the former Toledo Rocket is still a force to be reckoned with in the running game.
Stay tuned to see if Kansas City will continue feeding Hunt as the Chiefs look to run out the clock to earn a win over the Steelers.
