The Kansas City Chiefs have an early lead over the New Orleans Saints on “Monday Night Football,” and fans in Western Missouri aren’t the only people who have been impressed by the defending Super Bowl champions’ performance in primetime.
NBA superstar LeBron James took to Twitter to share an observation about Patrick Mahomes during the game, indicating that he didn’t think the Chiefs could lose as long as the legendary quarterback was in Kansas City’s starting lineup.
Take a look at James’ tweet about Mahomes, which was posted shortly after kickoff on Monday night:
KC just so good man! Doesn’t matter who’s not in the lineup as long as QB1 is!

Though Mahomes seemed to receive most of the credit for the Chiefs’ success in James’ tweet, it was third-year safety Bryan Cook and veteran running back Kareem Hunt who helped Kansas City get out to an early lead.
Stay tuned to see if the Chiefs can keep their perfect record intact.
