The Kansas City Chiefs became the first team to punch their ticket to the playoffs last week and are now gearing up to play the Los Angeles Chargers at Arrowhead on Sunday.
Despite their Week 13 win, Chiefs players were less than thrilled with their performance on Friday night and promised better play moving forward.
Whether or not Kansas City plays better for the rest of the season remains to be seen, but Sunday’s matchup against a good Chargers team may serve as a litmus test.
Despite an 8-4 record, Los Angeles is playing their best football in a long time and is potentially the only other AFC West that will sniff the playoffs this season.
Expect the Chiefs to stay true to their word and put up a fight against a team that could easily hand them their second loss of the season.
