Chiefs vs. Bills: K.C. regains lead after Xavier Worthy touchdown

The Kansas City Chiefs got off to a hot start against the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game but quickly lost momentum in the second quarter.

After a botched handoff by quarterback Patrick Mahomes led to a touchdown for the Bills, the Chiefs found themself down 10-7 and in need of a score.

On a drive that took over six minutes, Mahomes had no trouble slicing through Buffalo’s defense to march the offense down the field and find the endzone on a pass to rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy.

Take a look at Worthy’s impressive touchdown, which was posted by the Chiefs’ official Twitter account during the game:

Despite a slow stretch for Kansas City, the reigning Super Bowl champions appear to have found their footing and could end Buffalo’s season early.

Expect to see the former Texas Longhorn find the endzone again before the end of Sunday’s must-win playoff game.
