The AFC’s field of playoff competitors has been whittled down to the top two teams by record: the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills.
Here are our early predictions for the AFC Championship Game.
Chiefs vs. Bills predictions
The Bills impressed in the wild-card and divisional rounds, but in their defeat of the Baltimore Ravens, which earned them entrance into this week’s AFC Championship Game, they made mistakes that could be costly if repeated against the Chiefs.
In comparison, Kansas City cruised through the divisional round, winning over the Houston Texans without doing anything surprising offensively. This means the Chiefs should have plays in store for this week that their opposition has yet to study.
Final score: Chiefs 27, Bills 20
Chiefs vs. Bills history, last five games
The Chiefs are 2-3 against the Bills in their last five games. What is important to note is that while Kansas City has not fared as well in regular season appearances facing Buffalo, they are undefeated against the Bills in recent postseason history. In Josh Allen’s tenure as Buffalo’s quarterback, the Bills are 0-3 against the Chiefs in the playoffs.
When will Chiefs play Bills in NFL playoffs?
