The Kansas City Chiefs are knocking on the door of history with their latest AFC Championship victory on Sunday. The path to an unprecedented third consecutive Super Bowl title goes through the Philadelphia Eagles.
After Sunday’s victory, Pro Bowl tight end Travis Kelce spoke to reporters in the locker room, responding to a question regarding Patrick Mahomes’ greatness. In a video posted by James Palmer, the Walter Payton Man of the Year team nominee praised his record-breaking quarterback.
“Whatever he’s got to do to get us to the next level or to win the game, Pat’s gonna do it. Said Kelce. “Whether it’s putting his body on the line or giving it to somebody else for them to do it. That’s why he’s the ultimate competitor.”

Mahomes led another go-ahead drive in the fourth quarter and orchestrated plays to seal the game. Kelce only managed two catches on Sunday, but Mahomes utilized other options as the offense remained efficient.
