The recent milestones accomplished by Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce have placed him in the upper echelon of the league’s history. His achievements off the field in entertainment are also growing with another addition to his acting catalog.
The multiple-time Pro Bowler appeared in the new teaser trailer for Adam Sandler’s ‘Happy Gilmore 2‘ during the Netflix broadcast of the Chiefs’ Christmas Day victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Kelce is shown briefly speaking to Sandler’s iconic character, Happy.
“It’s great to see you back, Mr. Gilmore,“ said Kelce’s character as various clips were also shown in the teaser for the 2025 sequel.
Kelce had expressed interest in participating in the Happy Gilmore sequel since Sandler’s recent appearance on the New Heights podcast. The veteran actor made it official during a summer appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.‘
“We have a nice something for Travis. He’s going to come by. He’s a very nice guy,“ Sandler said to Fallon. “What a big, handsome guy. Funny and cool as hell. He’s a stud, and he’s so funny.”
Details about Kelce’s character have yet to be revealed, but he is significant enough to be featured in the teaser trailer.
