Chiefs superfan arrested for alleged armed robbery bragged about ‘private hustle’ funding his bets

Chiefs fans on social media were distraught over the weekend when superfan ChiefsAholic, who’s real name is Xavier Michael Babudar, wasn’t posting online like he normally does.

Known for showing up to games—both home and away—in a KC Wolf costume and acting in ways a superfan typically does, Babudar’s absence was quickly noted and other Chiefs fans began searching to make sure he was OK.

It turns out he had a pretty good reason to miss Texans-Chiefs game in Houston. Apparently, while driving from Kansas City to Texas, Babudar stopped off in Bixby, Oklahoma to execute an alleged armed robbery. He was promptly caught, arrested and booked into Tulsa County Jail.

But Twitter detectives weren’t done. There appears to be a pattern here. And, possibly, some self-incriminating evidence over what Babudar was doing with the money: Gambling on the Chiefs.

Because, naturally.

Well, that could start to clear up what he meant by “I hustle in private.” And that could also explain why he feels like he’s betting with house money.

The thread tweeted above by @DxvidMxthews links Babudar to other thefts and arrests, though it’s not clear if he was gambling with that money.

There’s certainly a few lessons to be learned here, but no one has the time to list them all out.
