Chiefs, Ravens have 3 former Dolphins in AFC championship matchup

The Miami Dolphins have been eliminated from the postseason following their 27-6 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs a couple of weeks back.

So, while Dolphins fans prepare for the offseason, there are a number of former Dolphins who are still playing for a Super Bowl championship that they can support.

This Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens are set to battle in a conference-championship matchup, and there are three former Dolphins on their rosters and practice squads.

Here’s a look at which players who once donned the aqua and orange will play in this one:

Van Noy signed a four-year deal to join the Dolphins in 2020, reuniting with his former coach Brian Flores in South Florida. In 2020, he played in 14 games for Miami, recording 69 tackles (10 for a loss), six sacks, six passes defensed, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He was cut after just one year before rejoining the New England Patriots in 2021.

Reiter was signed by the Dolphins off of the New Orleans Saints practice squad back in 2021. He started five games for the team before he was released later that season.

Perine spent the 2022 season on the Dolphins practice squad after he was released by the Philadelphia Eagles. Later that year, he signed with the Chiefs practice squad and won the Super Bowl with the team.
