Jason Kelce spent all 13 seasons of his NFL career with the Philadelphia Eagles, but there was one other team that had part of his heart in recent years—the Kansas City Chiefs.
Jason’s younger brother, Travis Kelce, has been a star for the Chiefs, and the two had some classic matchups on the field, including in Super Bowl LVII when they made NFL history by playing against each other in the championship game.
Jason Kelce retired on Monday with an emotional press conference that had his little brother in tears and had the NFL world singing his praises.
The Chiefs also found a classy way to honor Jason Kelce:
You never played for us, but you're still family. The game is going to miss you @JasonKelce ❤️

Love this! Very classy and true. Jason is a Philly legend but part of Chiefs Kingdom, too. https://t.co/j9pbywaO9f

Respect. Classy move, even if I’m still salty about the SB. https://t.co/5J1mVOXyvD
