Chiefs linebacker Willie Gay said ‘nothing’ about the Bengals offense impressed him

Just a couple days after Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce warned the Bengals about providing the Chiefs with bulletin-board material, Chiefs linebacker Willie Gay returned the favor for Cincinnati.

The Chiefs and Bengals are set to meet in Sunday’s AFC title game at Arrowhead Stadium as quarterback Joe Burrow looks to move to 4-0 against Kansas City. That alone should have the Chiefs acutely aware of what the Bengals do well offensively.

Gay just wasn’t about to admit it during Thursday’s media availability.

When the Chiefs linebacker was asked what impressed him the most about the Bengals offense, Gay quickly responded, “Nothing.”

Not Burrow, not Ja’Marr Chase, not Joe Mixon … nothing.

The Chiefs certainly didn’t appreciate how the Bengals were calling the stadium “Burrowhead” in place of Arrowhead. But you can definitely assume that the Bengals are going to catch word of Gay’s quote as well.

Fans also had their thoughts on Gay’s bulletin-board moment ahead of Sunday’s game.

This was how Twitter reacted

One way or the other, I’m sure we’ll be hearing about that quote after Sunday’s game.
