The Kansas City Chiefs may be without star defensive lineman Chris Jones in their Week 17 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day.
Jones was injured in Kansas City’s win over the Houston Texans on Saturday and was a limited participant in practice on Tuesday after missing drills due to his calf earlier in the week.
Should the Chiefs be without Jones in the starting lineup, veterans Derrick Nnadi and Mike Pennel will be relied on to help stymie the Steelers’ running game and apply pressure to Russell Wilson in the pass rush.
Among other Chiefs players who were given game designations were defensive back Chamarri Conner and offensive lineman D.J. Humphries.
Chris Jones and Jawaan Taylor are questionable for tomorrow's game against the Steelers.

Neither Conner nor Humphries participated in practice this week, and both were listed OUT for Wednesday’s game due to a concussion and hamstring injury, respectively.
Starting right tackle Jawaan Taylor was a limited participant in Kansas City’s practices this week and is listed as questionable due to a lingering knee injury.
