Andy Reid played a significant role in the Eagles’ rise to become a gold-standard organization, and he’s bubbly after Kansas City’s thrilling Super Bowl LVII win over Philadelphia in February.
Wow, preparing to defend his title, Reid spoke with the media during his session at the NFL owner’s meetings in Arizona.
Asked about his former team, Reid had glowing remarks for the Eagles, telling the media that Philadelphia was in great hands as they advanced.
Andy Reid on Eagles: "First of all, the Eagles are in great hands. They've got a good head coach, they've got a good (GM) in Howie. I think they're in a really good spot. They got a quarterback who I think is tremendous. That's a good nucleus just to start with."

The Eagles have a top-five owner and GM, while Nick Sirianni has certainly proven to be among the top young coaches in the league.
Reid had an up-close view of the All-Pro quarterback when he set a Super Bowl record with 70 yards rushing and tied a record with three rushing scores.
He also threw for 304 yards and one touchdown in the loss.
