Chiefs HC Andy Reid extends prayers for victims of California wildfires

The Kansas City Chiefs are taking some time away from football during their first-round playoff bye, but head coach Andy Reid still spoke to the media this week as his team looks ahead to postseason action.

In his comments to the media on Friday, Reid made a point to address the wildfires raging in the Los Angeles area, making it clear that the Chiefs are keeping a close eye on the situation as it unfolds.

“Our hearts go out to all those people,” Reid said. “[Our] prayers are with them. Hopefully, they can get these things contained there. We just pray for everybody’s safety.”

Take a look at this video of Reid’s comments, which was posted to Twitter by the Chiefs’ official account.

As a result of the tragic wildfires, the NFL moved the Los Angeles Rams’ Wild Card matchup against the Minnesota Vikings to State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
