The Chiefs, somehow, broke out another exciting way to get Travis Kelce wide open on Sunday during a tightly-contested battle with the Raiders in Las Vegas.
With two minutes left in the first half, Chiefs coach Andy Reid decided to pull out all the stops on first-and-10. The trick play began with a pitch from star quarterback Patrick Mahomes to running back Isiah Pacheco, who then tossed the ball to receiver Richie James.
After catching a quick pitch from James, Mahomes fired off a laser to Kelce for a 23-yard gain to the Raiders seven-yard line. The perfectly executed flea flicker set up an eventual Mahomes touchdown pass three plays later, giving NFL fans another ridiculous Chiefs highlight to marvel over.

As has often been the case, the success of the Mahomes-to-Kelce connection should never come as a surprise but, thanks to Sunday’s monster play, opposing teams may now have another wild Chiefs to play to watch out for.
