Chiefs defeat Eagles in Super Bowl LVII thriller

The Kansas City Chiefs are champions once again after defeating the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII. It’s the team’s second Super Bowl title in the past four years and after a two-year drought, they’ve reminded the NFL that they’re here to stay.

The first half didn’t go as the Chiefs would have hoped, down 10 at halftime and with their quarterback limping off the field in the final moments of the second quarter. In the second half, the offense came roaring back, despite Patrick Mahomes aggravating his ankle injury at the end of the half.

The guys stuck together through some serious adversity and managed to battle back to take the lead. The offensive line, Patrick Mahomes, Eric Bieniemy and the receiving corps deserve all of the credit for buckling down.

In the end, it felt like having Super Bowl experience was the biggest difference and advantage for Kansas City in this game. The Chiefs were able to handle the ebbs and flows and the Eagles were not.
