Kansas City Chiefs center Creed Humphrey delighted the crowd at Friday night’s St. Louis Blues game. Humphrey was spotted in the crowd. When the camera panned onto him, he chugged a beer.

Creed Humphrey has reason to celebrate. The Chiefs dominated the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day. They also earned home-field advantage and a first-round bye in the playoffs. The 15-1 two-time Super Bowl champions are vying for the elusive three-peat. Humphrey has also been a stalwart for Patrick Mahomes and the offensive line this season, taking 100% of the team’s offensive snaps through 16 games. He has also played practically flawless football committing only one penalty (holding) in 1,114 snaps.
His appearance at the St. Louis Blues game also helped their cause. The 17-16-4 Blues defeated the Nashville Predators by the score of 7-4 and are riding a two-game winning streak. The Blues have been on a winning tear after hiring legendary former Boston Bruins coach Jim Montgomery last month, going 8-4.
Amid the discussion about NHL expansion, no one has mentioned Kansas City getting a team. A survey of NHL players indicated that Houston is the frontrunner.
Humphrey’s Chiefs close out the season at Denver on January 5, 2025. The Blues host the Buffalo Sabres on December 29. Perhaps Creed Humphrey should return since he was a good luck charm and fan-favorite on Friday night.
