Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Chidobe Awuzie wants to make sure Tyler Boyd gets his shine too.
Cincinnati’s No. 1 corner made sure to correct a tweet from Pro Football Focus this week, answering two questions in one go.
The tweet, which asked if there was a better wideout duo in the NFL than Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, got an emphatic no from Awuzie.
He also made sure to point out that the Bengals have the best trio, not duo, looping in Boyd, the reliable slot wideout.
It’s just a small, funny show of support from one Bengals teammate to another. Like Awuzie’s breakout season in Cincinnati as a No. 1 corner, Boyd indeed does tend to get overlooked despite being one of the best slot receivers in the NFL.
Awuzie just made sure as many on the platform as possible heard what he had to say on the matter.
