Chicago police are currently searching for a woman who was involved in an altercation with airline employees at Chicago O'Hare International Airport last month. The incident, which occurred on July 30 around 7:45 a.m., was captured on camera. The 31-year-old suspect was seen in a staff area behind a check-in counter engaging in a verbal dispute with two women, ages 24 and 40, before knocking over items on a desk.
According to reports, the woman became agitated after missing her flight and proceeded to climb back over the bag drop conveyor belt while verbally berating Frontier Airlines staff. She then threw a cell phone, hitting the 40-year-old victim and striking the 24-year-old victim in the leg before fleeing the scene. Chicago police are actively investigating the incident.
In a separate incident earlier this month at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, a Frontier Airlines pilot was arrested, leading to the cancellation of a flight. The pilot, identified as 45-year-old Seymour Walker, was wanted on an assault-family violence warrant. Video footage taken by a passenger shows Walker being escorted off the plane in handcuffs by police officers and taken into custody before the flight to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport could depart.
