While there are many NFL rivalries that generate buzz among fans each season, few create the excitement and banter that surrounds Packers-Bears games.
Green Bay fans have taken pleasure in defeating Chicago in the teams’ past eight meetings. That success has made Packers fans insufferable, according to Bears defensive tackle Justin Jones, who used some colorful language to describe the rival fan base Tuesday.
“There fans are sh----,” Jones said. “… They are just obnoxious, yelling about things that don’t even matter … Half of them don’t even know football. It’s so weird to me. … I want to go back out there and beat the hell out of them on their field … and I want to hear the boos then.”
Jones is relatively new to the longstanding NFC North rivalry, as he joined Chicago ahead of the 2022 season. The 26-year-old spent the previous four seasons with the Chargers.
