Chic Edinburgh drinking spot loved by stars including Martin Compston set to reopen

An Edinburgh cocktail garden that's loved by stars like Line of Duty's Martin Compston and celebrated boxer Josh Taylor has announced it is set to reopen for the summer.

Rose Street Garden has become a bit of a must-visit over the past few years with its chic location, epic street food and insanely creative cocktails.

With bookings now live, it's sure to see the slots filled quick so its worth checking for dates and booking in advance before you plan to go – though the team say they do accept walk ins.

Squirrelled away at the back of the Dome and WhyNot nightclub, Rose Street Garden is a firm favourite with Scottish star Martin Compston, who celebrated his birthday there in 2021 which led to the team behind the bar creating a cocktail in honour of the Mayflies star, a Compston -politan.

Former Celtic and Hibs legend Scott Brown has also been known to pop along the in demand nightspot.

The award-winning Gardens have been putting out teasers for what people can expect when they reopen at the end of April, with photos of delicious looking street food dishes like popcorn chicken, stuffed peppers and short rib bao buns on their Facebook.

While the Flamingo inspired Bubble Butt leads the new drinks offering alongside the uber cool 'Potion' cocktail shooters.

Posting on Facebook, they wrote: "We’re excited to announce that RSG returns on Thursday 27th April with our most exciting food and drink menus yet!"
