Cheshire Oaks shoppers will soon be able to hire outfits from the shopping village

Renting outfits is a rising trend among fashion lovers looking to hire looks for events, weddings and occasions before returning them, not only saving money but wardrobe space, too. And next week, shoppers will be able to rent outfits at Cheshire Oaks designer outlet.

The shopping village is set to host a fashion rental pop-up shop this month, partnering with the app By Rotation. The pop-up is the first of its kind outside of London, and will feature items from top users of the social app, known as 'Rotators', Cheshire Live reports.

If you're in search of something for a special occasion like a birthday dinner or best friend's wedding, the 10-day boutique pop-up will allow guests to rent from a selection of over 150 sought-after fashion items, including brands like The Vampire’s Wife, Ganni, Jacquemus, Zimmermann, Rat&Boa and Rixo.

At the pop-up shop, guests will be able to browse, try and rent items from these in-demand brands for a fraction of the retail price, as well as find the perfect shoes, bag or accessories to compliment and complete the look from McArthurGlen Cheshire Oaks retailers including Coach, Mulberry, Furla, Kate Spade, Pinko, Kurt Geiger and Burberry.

By Rotation Founder & CEO, Eshita Kabra Davies said: “After many successful pop-ups in London, we’re so excited to be popping up in Cheshire Oaks and having a physical presence regionally.

"Our 300K strong community is based all over the UK so I can’t wait to meet our local Rotators as well as introduce our platform to new users. By Rotation is about making luxury fashion available to all, something we and McArthurGlen both have in common.”

The pop up will be set up outside U.S. Polo Assn from Friday, July 22, where shoppers can browse and try on items available to rent in the app until July 31.

Kenny Murray, General Manager at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet said: “Creating unparalleled shopping experiences for Centre guests and the wider community is a priority for us.

"This is why we are so excited to work with such an innovative and meaningful brand as By Rotation, which reflects our own ambitions of creating more sustainable and affordable fashion choices for customers. We hope that the partnership will bring together both communities to connect, share and discover even more brands in-centre.”
