Cheryl was supported by her ex-boyfriend Liam Payne as she made a rare red carpet appearance over the weekend.
The former Girls Aloud singer, 39, attended the event held at The Londoner Hotel, which was thrown in memory of the late Sarah Harding, who died age 39 last year following a battle with breast cancer.
Cheryl was joined by her former bandmates Nadine Coyle, 37, Nicola Roberts , 37, and Kimberley Walsh, 40, to host the charity fundraiser, called The Primose Ball, on Saturday evening.
Amongst those on the red carpet for the event was Cheryl's ex Liam, 29, who she shares son Bear with.
Cheryl and Liam keep an amicable relationship, despite deciding to split in 2018 shortly after the birth of their son Bear in March 2017.
The pair share a long history together as they first met in 2008 when Liam auditioned for The X Factor while Cheryl was a judge on the talent competition. Here we take a look...
Cheryl and Liam first met in 2008 when he auditioned for The X Factor, singing a rendition of Frank Sinatra's Fly Me By The Moon.
During his audition Liam, who was 14 at the time, winked at Fight For This Love singer Cheryl, who was 25 in 2008.
Recalling his cheeky wink in a podcast chat with Logan Paul earlier this year, Liam said: "It’s a licensed weapon please don’t try it. I went back to school the day after I winked at Cheryl in the audition and my friends are going ‘what do you think you’re doing winking at Cheryl Cole on TV?'"
He added: "Fast forward a few years and we ended up having a baby together."
Fast forward eight years and the pair spark romance rumours as the pair grow closer following the end of Cheryl's marriage toJohn Fernandez-Versini and Liam's split from Sophia Smith in 2016.
Liam got a tattoo of a rose on his hand and posted a snap of it on his Instagram – which is now understood to be a tribute to Cheryl after her huge rose inking on her bottom.
The couple later went Instagram official in March 2016 as the former One Direction star shared a snap of himself and Cheryl looking cosy.
In November of that year, Cheryl was spotted sporting a prominent bump while out with her singer beau. She didn't announce her pregnancy but later revealed she had given birth to the couple's son Bear in March 2017.
The pair couldn't stop gushing over one another on social media but, in October 2017 things kicked up a gear when Cheryl made a raunchy admission on Twitter.
As she shared a video of Liam's son Bedroom Floor, one Twitter user made a jibe as they cheekily quipped: "I heard it was more baby toys rather on the bedroom floor than clothes".
But Cheryl soon fired back with: "Not from where I'm looking," followed by a string of cheeky faced emoji's.
The admission sent fans into a frenzy in the comments as one said: "I JUST CHOKED" while another asked: "Are ya'll making more babies?"
Despite Cheryl's raunchy admission about her and Liam's bedroom antics their romance wasn't to last.
The couple struggled to shake split speculation after it was reported they were having problems due to not spending enough time together.
After making a loved-up red carpet appearance in February 2018, the couple announce their split months later in June.
A statement from the pair read: "We are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It's been a tough decision for us to make.
"We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together."
Since their split, the couple have worked together to co-parent their son Bear.
And, although Cheryl has remained tight-lipped about her life as a single mum, the Strip That Down singer has been open about sharing parenting duties with the former X Factor judge.
Following their split, Liam told Logan Paul's podcast, Impaulsive: "She gives me full autonomy of my own life to be able to go and do what I do, and at the same time I know [Bear] is being taken care of because he is all she cares about."
Liam added how he enjoys taking his son to school a couple of days a week.
"I love to take my son to school, it’s so much fun and I know he loves it too," he said.
The singer then recalled: "The other day he was asleep, and his mum said to him 'morning sunshine'. And then my deep voice came in saying 'morning' and he went, 'huh!'
"And he went 'wow daddy, that was the biggest surprise of my life, you being here today'. That’s the best s***t, taking care of him and watching him grow."
Liam and Cheryl now live three minutes away from one another so they can take care of their son.
Earlier this year, Cheryl discussed her split from the father of her son Bear, five.
She said: "So he wanted to settle down and have a family and not do the solo thing.
"So he wanted to settle down and have a family and not do the solo thing," she added to the Sunday Times Magazine.
Cheryl previously revealed she and Liam are on good terms: "There's no animosity whatsoever. We are learning all the time. We're just like any other couple that have gone through this, but we have a few more eyes watching us... Just a few."
She told The Sun in 2019: "I’m actually really happy that we can be the way we are. We love and care about each other a lot and we share a child. It’s really important that we’re able to have a very healthy good relationship."
Cheryl added: "We’re going to be in each other’s lives forever so we’ve got to figure it out and be grown-up about it."
