Cheryl has delighted fans by making a very rare social media return. The singer isn't very active on Instagram and last posted on the photo-sharing platform in January to promote her collaboration with a wellness product brand.
But on Thursday, the Girls Aloud star broke her five-month silence and shared a brand new snap with her 3.5million followers - and she is glowing!
It showed her posing for the close-up photo with her hood pulled over her brunette locks as she smiled for the camera. Cheryl kept her make-up simple, with just a touch of blush to add some pinkness into her tanned cheeks and a slick of pink lip-gloss.

But others were quick to assume it was because she had other plans in the works and issued their pleas for new music. @maisiekennedy said: "Pls tell me this is promo for something coming soon."
"Looking good Cheryl new music coming??" @thisisrobbb commented as @xtina_superstar demanded: "GIRL, GIVE US A NEW ALBUM! ITS BEEN A WHILE!"
Cheryl's Instagram comeback comes weeks after former bandmate Nadine Coyle revealed plans for the group to get back together. While Girls Aloud, who shot to fame in 2002 after winning Popstars: The Rivals, won't be back in the studio or on stage, Nadine, Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts will be reuniting for a much greater cause.
"We’re planning a night for an event to raise money in honour of Sarah [Harding]," Nadine, 36, told OK! last month "She’s very much in the forefront of our minds."
Sarah, who grew up in Stockport, tragically died aged 39 in September after being diagnosed with cancer. Sarah told fans in August 2020 that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer, which had spread to other parts of her body. Her mum Marie then announced Sarah's death on Instagram and described her "beautiful" daughter as "a bright shining star".
Nadine added to the publication: "We want to raise money for a piece of medical equipment that helps diagnose cancer earlier so people can be treated. We definitely want to do something to help others," before speaking on behalf of her former bandmates: "[Sarah’s passing] still affects us deeply, to think about everything that she went through."
