Cher’s first sexual experience ‘massively overrated’

Cher’s first sexual experience was ‘massively overrated’

Cher’s first sexual experience was “massively overrated”.

The 78-year-old ‘If I Could Turn Back Time’ singer has just released her memoir, which contains a string of shocking revelations about her life and career, and it’s now been revealed the book ‘Cher: The Memoir, Part One’, released on Tuesday (19.11.24), contains her recollection of the circumstances that led to her losing her virginity.

She said it stemmed from her having a crush on a boy in her neighborhood who she started dating when she was 14, writing in her book they used to kiss in her bedroom.

But she added the boy’s behaviour started to change when his friends were around, saying he went from acting “sweet” to treating her “like an embarrassing kid:”.

She added that one day when the boys were planning an outing to a restaurant, they mockingly asked her boyfriend if he was going to bring that “kid” – leading him to dump her.

Cher went on in her autobiography: “I was so hurt when he did that, I had revenge sex with him. I had never wanted to.

“Otherwise I would have done it one of the 500 other times he asked.

“But I was so angry at being dismissed, I decided to, if not lose, loan out my virginity to him.”

She added about how she wasn’t impressed by his performance: “When what turned out to be a massively overrated experience came to an end, I asked him, ‘Is that it? Are we finished?’

“Then I told him to go home and never come back.

“I wanted him to feel just as dismissed as he'd made me feel.”

The story emerged as Cher’s younger boyfriend has been credited with getting her back in the studio.

She has apparently been so “inspired” by her lover Alexander ‘A E’ Edwards, 38, she is back to making music after not releasing a recording since 2013 – aside from her 2023 Christmas record.

A source has also told Page Six the music executive brought her tracks to get the project on the go.

Cher said she was back at work on new music during an interview last week with Jimmy Fallon.

When the late night chat show host, 50, asked her: “Could there be another album? Would you do another one?” Cher replied: “I’m about to.”

A source added to Page Six she will be in the studio early next year with Alexander collaborating on a session and that she’s “really excited” about going back to work.
