With the 2023 Cheltenham Festival just days away getting the bets and flutters in order is of the utmost importance. Cue Talksport presenter Alan Brazil who has been speaking to aceodds.com. He has five fancies ahead of next weeks event and has form too. Last year the Scotland legend backed a 10/1 outsider at the festival whose name you'll never be able to guess. Brazil.
There's plenty of action before the fabled Gold Cup on Friday. What horses do you fancy before the big event?
Tuesday's a great day of racing. It's fantastic. I'm going to back Jonbon in the Arkle Chase (6/4). I'm also looking forward to watching Nicky Henderson's Shishkin in the Ryanair Chase on Thursday (8/11).

For the Triumph Hurdle on Friday I'm a big fan of Lossiemouth from the Mullins yard (15/8).
One of my best tips for the whole meeting is Edwardstone in the Champion Chase on Wednesday (13/8). He's actually owned by a couple of guys out in the Suffolk villages who sometimes visit my local pub.
The Gold Cup is the final event on the final day and Cheltenham's most prestigious race. Who are you backing?
I've made notes. I've listened to people and I've kept across the tipsters and I think Galopin Des Champs. Recently I read that jockey Patrick Mullins, after his recent fall, has begun to respect the fences more. He still insists he'll go for them as usual so if he jumps cleanly then I think he'll take some beating.
I've also got money on Protektorat. Apparently since Dan Skelton began working with him he's improved by a few lengths. So again if he jumps well he could be a good each way bet (12/1).
