Harry Cobden and Paul Nichols picked up a win for the UK in the opening race of the day, but that was to be as good as it got for the hosts.
Liam McKenna came from nowhere on 'Good time Jonny' to pick up the win in the second race of the day, before Rachael Blackmore recorded another emotional win for Henry de Bromhead aboard Envoi Allen.
