Cheltenham Festival 2023 Friday results in full: Every winner including Gold Cup

The final day of the 2023 Cheltenham Festival has come to a close, and once again the runners and riders have lived up to the billing.

After three days of remarkable racing, fans flocked in their thousands for the St Patrick's Day, Gold Cup special. The day kicked off as it meant to go on after well-backed favourite Lossiemouth showed her class to win the JCB Triumph Hurdle.

Next up came the McCoy Contractors County Handicap Hurdle, and it was the Skelton-trained Faivoir who passed the post first, before Stay Away Fay secured the win in the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle. The main event of the day then came at 3:30pm with the Gold Cup, and it did not disappoint.

After last year's fall, the great Galopin Des Champs lived up to his name to secure a famous five-length victory ahead of Bravemansgame. Amid all the drama, the racing was not done there though, as 66/1 shot Premier Magic secured an impressive win in the St James's Place Hunters' Chase.

A show-stopping week of racing was then capped off after Impervious secured the Mrs Paddy Power Mares' Chase and Iroko won the Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle.
