Cheltenham Festival 2023 day 1 full race card and tips - list of runners Tuesday

The 2023 Cheltenham Festival kicks off today, with seven races for punters to get stuck into.

The Supreme Novices' Hurdle is the opening contest and sees last year's Champion Bumper winner Facile Vega aim to add a second Festival success to his CV.

He faces 13 rivals, including the Barry Connell-trained Marine Nationale, while Inthepocket also runs here for Henry de Bromhead rather than the Ballymore due to the softening ground conditions as a result of the rain in recent days.

One of the most exciting horses in training in Constitution Hill will aim to enhance his ever-growing reputation in the Champion Hurdle at 3.30. He looks impossible to oppose.

The Arkle sees the clash of El Fabiolo and Jonbon, while the Mares' Hurdle looks like one of the races of the week at 4.10. What a story it would be if Honeysuckle were to win.
