Chelsey Harwood's TV appearances, prison stint and victim of abuse

Reality TV star Chelsey Harwood has recently been the victim of a campaign of abuse.

The 33-year-old, from Liverpool, rose to fame while appearing on the online show This Is Liverpool in 2014.

Chelsey, who is transgender, sensationally quit the show after a heated argument with fellow cast member - Vicky Yee - who she accused of tweeting transphobic abuse.

She was later charged with attacking Vicky at a hair salon in Smithdown Road, and appeared before Magistrates.

She was eventually cleared of all charges.

You might have also spotted the TV personality on Hollyoaks, as she appeared in an episode to celebrate the soap's first gay pride festival in 2015.

Talking about her experience on the popular soap Chelsey said: “I’m proud to have been invited along to film some scenes for the first ever Hollyoaks Pride and to be involved in the filming of Hollyoaks’ 20th anniversary episodes. I feel like I’m part of the show’s history.

“The cast and crew were wonderful, I was made to feel at home and welcomed with open arms.

“It was like being in one big family, everybody is super professional and at the same time lots of fun.

“I left wishing I had a role - I am a huge fan of the whole production, cast and crew.”

Chelsey went on to make further TV appearances, revealing the horrifying effects of her surgery mistakes in 2016 on Celebrity Botched Up Bodies.

Speaking about the surgery doctors had to put right, she said: “I looked down and it was like a double-decker bus had crashed into my private parts.”

Chelsey went through a huge number of procedures, including autologous fat transfer labia, harvest abdomen, clitoroplasty, meatoplasty, scar revision neck and platelet rich plasma therapy.

Just a year later, the star ran into trouble with the law yet again and found herself returning to the courts.

In April 2017 she was convicted of dishonestly obtaining £25,000 in Employment Support Allowance and Housing Benefit, despite telling friends of her well-paid media career, boasting of having made £120,000 by chatting with men online in exchange for money and expensive gifts.

Three months later, in July 2017, Chelsey was hit with a three month prison sentence after refusing to take the bus to do community service or go to her probation appointments.

Chelsey previously said she didn't want to "mix with scallies" on the bus - and told the court she was "anxious" about taking public transport.

Chelsey had been told to complete 100 hours of voluntary work as part of her sentence. But after failing to meet this condition and meet with her caseworkers, she told the judge she'd rather go to jail.

This week she was back in court - but this time as the victim of a crime.

A TikTok celebrity threw paint at Chelsey's house as a feud escalated between the pair.

Elsa Frost amassed thousands of views as “Banter Queen” but was jailed after sending a series of abusive messages to Ms Harwood.

The pair had been involved in an escalating feud over an extended period, with both posting videos criticising each other with 39-year-old Frost using transphobic language towards Chelsey.

The court heard she also went round to an address where Harwood lived and threw paint at the door.

"Banter Queen" was sentenced to a total of 18 weeks in prison.
