Armando Broja will lead the line for Chelsea when they face Brentford in the Premier League but Thiago Silva is forced to settle for a spot on the bench.
Graham Potter explained that Silva suffered from a tight hamstring after Chelsea's 2-0 away win at Aston Villa.
The 38-year-old’s fitness therefore continues to be managed ahead of a home match against Manchester United on Saturday evening.
Hakim Ziyech has been out with a cold and returns to the bench against Thomas Frank's side.

“It's as you were, no other problems for the weekend,” Potter said ahead of a trip to the Brentford Community Stadium.
Adding about Silva: “It’s obviously 24/48 hours [since Aston Villa] so we need to make sure the recovery is right for him. But no problems injury-wise, it is just the recovery.”
Longer-term absentees like N'Golo Kante, Reece James and Wesley Fofana will all be out until after the World Cup or longer.
Chelsea have announced that James is out for eight weeks and Potter has explained that Fofana won’t be back soon either. Kante has been ruled out until the new year after another hamstring setback.
Rotations see Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Raheem Sterling and Mateo Kovacic left out of the starting line-up.
Chelsea XI: Kepa; Azpilicueta, Chalobah, Koulibaly, Cucurella; Jorginho, Loftus-Cheek, Gallagher; Mount, Havertz, Broja.
Subs: Mendy, Silva, Chukwuemeka, Kovacic, Zakaria, Sterling, Pulisic, Ziyech, Aubameyang.
