Chelsea vs Liverpool FA Cup Final: How to buy tickets, price, availability, Wembley attendance

New Chelsea owner Todd Bohely will be given an introduction to one of the world's oldest football competitions as Wembley opens its gates to a full attendance. Thomas Tuchel and Jurgen Klopp lock horns in the FA Cup final on May 14, with the Blues undoubtedly keen to avenge their Carabao Cup sorrows.

Wembley let in over 85,000 fans to the 2022 Carabao Cup final between Chelsea and Liverpool in February, handing the two sides a preliminary taster of the main event at the end of the season. With the competition annually staged between January and February, it was one of the last close proximity sporting events before initial Covid restrictions were put in place in May 2020.

The FA Cup, on the other hand, was dealt a double blow due to the mass gathering Covid restrictions outlined by the British government in their roadmap out of the pandemic.; in 2020, the final was played behind closed doors and in 2021 the tie only welcomed 20,000 fans. In each of the aforementioned clashes, the west London side fell at the last hurdle, losing to Arsenal and Leicester City.
