Edouard Mendy - A reassuring outing from the Senegal international who produced a brilliant save as Timothy Castagne looked destined to score on the brink of half time. Perhaps should have done better at his near post for Harvey Barnes' goal. Impressive save against Jamie Vardy late on. 6.
Reece James - The class of Stamford Bridge, James' passing was on full display on Saturday afternoon. The wing-back hit the post with a fierce strike in the first half and was never afraid to take responsibility for the ball. Provided a perfect ball for Raheem Sterling to add his second. 8.
Trevoh Chalobah - A very solid display from the 22-year-old in his first start of the season. With a deal agreed for Wesley Fofana on Friday evening, it was a much-needed outing to prove his worth should he stay at Stamford Bridge for the season. Should have done better as he allowed Vardy to burst through in the final 10 minutes. 6.

Thiago Silva - A decent performance from the Brazilian who showed guile and also the ability to simply hoof the ball when required as Chelsea faced significant pressure late on. 7.
Marc Cucurella - A solid effort from the defender who provided a consistent presence down Chelsea's left flank. 6.
Conor Gallagher - A short and erratic afternoon for the Cobham product. His partnership with Jorginho did look much improved compared to their outing versus Leeds but Gallagher still appeared to be trying too hard in his play but produced some good tackles. His first booking was a little harsh but his second inevitable as he took down Jamie Vardy on the halfway line to prevent the Leicester foward having a free run on goal. 3.
Jorginho - The Italian's best display of the season. Jorginho tidied up play well and was a solid presence during his time on the pitch. 7.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek - Looked destined to score after Raheem Sterling's well-waited pass across the box but could only hit it straight at Danny Ward. Won Chelsea an early penalty. It was a shame to see the red card mean he had to play deeper but was quite frankly monstrous in each battle he faced. 9.
Mason Mount - A quiet afternoon for the Blues star and was sacrificed at half-time as Chelsea changed shape. 5.
Kai Havertz - Showed hints of good combinations with Loftus-Cheek but could not retain the ball often enough when more isolated. Strayed offside on too many occasions. The German forward provided James with the ball in the build up to Sterling's second, but probably needs a more sustained impact on the game. 6.
Raheem Sterling - The 27-year-old endured a difficult first half at Stamford Bridge and struggled to retain possession on multiple occasions. Wasted little time creating something in the second period as his deflected strike lobbed over Danny Ward to give Chelsea the lead. His second goal of the afternoon was every bit why Chelsea bought him, producing a simple in tap in after finding the ball around the six-yard box. 7
Substitutes
Cesar Azpilicueta - Having spent the opening half communicating with the fourth official in Thomas Tuchel's absence, slotted in on the right of a back three in the second half. Suggestion he could have done better defending Leicester's goal. 5.
Mateo Kovacic: Brought a mature head to play when Chelsea were under regular pressure from the Foxes. 6.
Christian Pulisic: The American helped provide an outlet for the Blues to release the ball. 6.
Ben Chilwell: Too little time to make an impression.
